I don't think there's really a limit to the speed you could gain at, but you won't be able to keep it going for too long as it's severely exhausting and requires some "training" for your body to produce the right amounts of enzymes and to be able to suppress the disgust reflex.
What I found works best with any food is adding 100g of extra butter to each meal. Best if the food is cooked, so it absorbs it when cooking or heated up. I was able to gain 5kg in less than 2 weeks, hell maybe even 1 and I just lost track of time. You should also take a sugary snack shortly after eating, to provoke the body to store even more fat. 2-3 meals like this a day is enough. You get so bloated for a while that you'll feel stomach muscles stretching hard.
For me butter works best, as it has barely any to somewhat good taste. Plus, fat carries the taste.
